March 23, 2009 Report

  • Drafting Intro to Reports course materials
  • Contributed articles for FM Newsletter (Jeff Folman). Subjects were re: Transactions training wrapping up and biennium close information
  • Group email back up while Puja was on vacation
  • Group email back up while Jerrica was out sick
  • Reviewed i:drive files and kept what I wanted and allowed Jerrica to purge the rest
  • Shared idea to sign all former trainees up for our listserv so they receive MyFD and biennium close information
  • Followed up with end users that should have gotten "FDI System Reject or Returned by Compliance" messages (sent on behalf of Dev Team so they could validate whether or not the system was functioning properly
  • Provided feedback to Melissa, for the "budget instance" memo she created
  • Had to redo spreadsheet containing "benefits reason" and sent two versions to Dev Team to update
DSC
  • Suggested team lunch at Shalimar
  • Reconciled old budget for Charles
  • Cubicle move completed, excess furniture went to MAA--yay!

LEAD Team
  • Arranged agenda for meeting with Ann, Sue & Ruth re: Leader's needs assessment findings and recommendations (4/22/09)
Trainings
  • Repurposed 4/9 Administrator class, to be a lecture class
  • Proposed idea to have a "sign up list" for hands on classes (possibly schedule our free courses-lecture and administrator-but have sign ups for the classes that cost $. This will allow us to still have training classes available but not have low enrollments for the classes we have to pay for)
Biennium Close Team:
  • Received approval for "special edition" biennium close newsletter (will host on AP website and link to it via FM Newsletter)
  • Received approval for e-learning topics and for this method to be the delivery mechanism
  • Created email template for new newsletter
  • Reviewed new website and provided feedback
